*****Promoting some etsy shops today. I found some really cute items that I just have to pass on. ******

I LOVE this goldfish cat toy in Destinystreasures.etsy.com Confidentially, I think my cat Babysocks may like it too! It just so looks like those goldfish crackers............i think of them and smile every time i see this toy. She also has a really cute ghost cat toy.........for those of us who give our pets halloween gifts. http://www.destinystreasures.etsy.com/

RoseRidgeCreations has some very useful and unique items in her shop. Take for instance, this walker bag. As my mom puts it, "we old people need places to put our sh*t". She's a little off the wall, my mom. In any case, this bag is very pretty and can be customized. She has lots of other neat items too..............the fleece socks look super warm and soft! http://www.roseridgecreations.etsy.com/

EASTER EGGS

Getting Ready for Easter.......................

With St Pattys Day behind us, Easter is officially on its way. I LOVE Easter eggs. I've loved making them and coloring them and crafting them ever since I was a little girl. I checked around Etsy shops tonight to find a few fun and unique eggs.

Granniegirt @ http://www.granniegirt.etsy.com/ has some beautiful crocheted eggs in her shop. Decorated and ready to sit IN or BESIDE any Easter basket or maybe just place on your coffee table for Spring. I also crochet, and can see that this is some tedious crocheting. They are just wonderful.

Now, how about something a little different? WOODEN EGGS! These are just awesome looking. I'd be so super excited if I saw an egg like this in a birds nest. Surprise someone and hide one of these in their Easter Basket this year. http://www.greenbaboondesigns.etsy.com/

In klosti's shop I found the most unique looking dishtowel you've ever seen. Themed for Easter, stating Happy Easter across the front and shaped like a cute little dress. The most adorable little chick is featured on the front as he is coming out of his Easter egg. You'll be all ready for the upcoming holiday with this beauty, and will also be the envy of all your houseguests. http://www.klosti.etsy.com/

THINK PINK

What can I say? its my favorite color. Its girly, its bright, its soft and just plain pretty. I am a collector of pink, well and also hearts.........and pink hearts, whew dont get me started. Maybe some of you dont know that on http://www.etsy.com/ you can search by COLOR. its fun and you get to browse all sorts of different item. of course there are other search features as well, but color is a fun one when you have some time to look around. I've founda few items that really tickled my fancy.

First, this little doll is too adorable for words, and oh so fuzzy pink! in yalipaz's shop http://www.yalipaz.etsy.com/ you'll find this little cutie as well as many other different types. She is fairly new to etsy too, so lets wish her lots of luck with her sales and creations. Browse around her shop and check out all the goodies. She has awesome acrylic prints as well. Be sure to take a look at "moon cat". That one is my favorite and my real cat "Rajah" loves it too!!! :)

LizzyT has this pink octopus keychain. And how darling she is!!! psssst, she also has a pink hippopatamus in her shop, so take a peek. http://www.lizzyt.etsy.com/ While browsing through her shop, I see jewelry as well, so there are all kinds of items to choose from. Start thinking stocking stuffers and give her shop a little love.

This next item is an ingenious idea. I just love it! An oilcloth lunch bag, totally hand washable too. As rickrackqueen states in the listing, you def will be the envy of your female co workers walking in to lunch with this baby. http://www.rickrackqueen.etsy.com/ This bag features pink roses and dots, but she has many others kinds offered in the shop. It even has a little side pocket for silverware. Way cool. Take a look around and see what you might like for yourself or to give as a gift.

Do I have any pink in MY shop you ask? Well of course. How about sending a tea bag greeting card to one of your friends. I guarantee she wont get another one like it. Blank inside to write your own message and tea bag included. http://www.craftheart.etsy.com/ And if you mention my blog in note to seller, with the purchase of any TWO greeting cards in my shop, you get a third one for FREE. And i have lots and lots for all sorts of occassions, even christmas cards already!!!

About Glue

About Glue........................lets see, I used to work teaching craft classes at an Arts and Crafts shop on the air force base where we live. All sorts of miscellaneous classes were taught in all age groups, but mostly home school kids. We did so many projects and i was asked so many times: What glue do you use to glue this to that, for example. It prompted me to do some internet research and find an easy way to answer the question. I found http://www.thistothat.com You can ask your own glue question and you receive your own glue answer! Its simple as that. I cant count how many times I've used it. Some glues I have never heard of and were a little difficult to find and some I were suprised to find out for instance, THAT works on fabric, or THAT will adhere glass or metal.

Always fun to find little tidbits and tips to making crafting more fun and easy. Definitely bookmark the thistothat site. i am sure you will find need to use it, if not now, def in the future!
